scene: A young boy sits up in bed, morning has arrived, the room is lighted with sunshine. // caption: [Young boy] “Wake up Mr. Rivo!!! Wake up! It’s morning! It’s time to start a new day! We have to start your project so the boys (the Cap’ & Verter) can find you! Mr. Rivo, WAKE UP!! ”
scene: The young boy bounds out of bed, Mr. Rivo in hand.
scene: Sitting on phone books, the boy eats cereal for breakfast, while sitting at the kitchen table. Rivo watches. // caption: [Young boy’s mom] “When his majesty is finished, will he please change into his play clothes.”
scene: Still in his pajamas, the boy debriefs Mr. Rivo about the plan. // caption: [Young boy] “I’ll be right back Mr. Rivo... Mom’s gonna help us make your signal light. She’s a good helper-- and she usually brings snacks.”
scene: Sitting at the kitchen table, the boys mom lays out the supplies (per request). // caption: [Young boy‘s mom] “One vanity mirror. Construction paper. Scissors. And the glue stick. Is that it?”// caption: [Young boy] “Yep.”
caption: [Young boy] “Okay... now cut out a half-moon shape and glue stick it to the mirror.”
caption: [Young boy] “That’s perfect mom. Now we just need to go to the park and signal the Alien Fliers.”
