scene: At dusk, Mr. Rivo floats past the windows of a top floor building… clinging evermore to the signal balloon.
narrative: If you will remember, as Mr. Rivo floated past the seventh floor ledge of an apartment building located somewhere downtown in the city, he realized it was now or never. Either cut the // string that bound him to the feral floating balloon and be safe on the ledge, or float off across the harbor and the darkness of the night & the unknown. // scene: A ship can be seen in the distant harbor. Nighttime looms near.
narrative: Upon hearing the sound of advancing mosquitoes, Rivo scrambled for safety... // scene: Rivo crawls into the building, through an open window .
narrative: Like sentries at a fort the Mosquitoes kept a constant vigil outside the open window. Did they sense his presence, or where they just stupid bugs that where attracted to the light that radiated from the room? // scene: Perched upon a window ledge, hiding from the mosquitoes that can be seen through the window.
narrative: Mosquitoes! The one creature that the Alien Fliers fear the most. A mosquito can suck the life right out of an Alien Flier... and giggle insanely the entire time while drinking, sucking, slurping... Mosquitoes!
narrative: Tying a knot in the end of the balloon string that he saved, Rivo made a makeshift rope ladder by slipping it behind the gap between the window casing and wall. He would hide amongst the statues
narrative: below. Then wait for the morning before climbing back up to ledge and the rescue that was sure to come. // Lowering himself down, Mr. Rivo was greeted by...
