narrative: Around about 10 o’clock that evening there began a rustling noise in the bushes, and twigs started to snap... along with the nerves of the waiting Alien Fliers... // scene: Rising from the table where they play cribbage, Verter and Captain Nee are taken aback at noises outside the bird.

narrative: The coyote that had been dispatched to carry the bird back to base had arrived. Captain Nee and Verter just sat inside and enjoyed the ride, as the coyote walked on through the night and completed its task... // scene: A coyote walks on through the night with a limp crow carcass in it’s hands.
