narrative (commentary): Dear Reader, As Mr. Rivo comes to grips with his insignificance, I would like to take a moment to explain the big picture. The difference between us & the life forms we have gotten so used to. The ones we call, The Alien Fliers...// scene: Rivo sits upon the ground and Verter is standing, a cresent moon is in a star lit night. There is a farm house vignette, it must be us.

narrative (commentary):
Without going into Plasma Physics,
unlike the inhabitants of Earth who are carbon based, the Alien Fliers are electrical based life forms, of the purist kind (as a matter of speaking only). They are made up of the sparks of life itself. The sparks and electrical charges that some might say make up the essence of the soul. It is for this reason we can not see them. Our Intelligence does not allow this. Only a small child, whose wild imagination has not been convinced that it is impossible, and creatures that make up the animal kingdom can see them.

narrative (commentary): You may have experienced them, but you did not see them. // Have you ever seen a dog chase its tail? Have you ever wondered why? //You’ve come close. But you’ve never seen them. We are too intelligent as a species. // scene: A dog is chasing his tail, as an alien flier holds on, rodeo style.

narrative (commentary): Have you ever seen a cat chase and bat at something invisible as it scampered down the hall? Have you ever wondered what it was chasing? Or why?... // scene: A cat is chasing something down the hall, it appears to be an alien flier.

narrative (commentary): Enter the animal kingdom, including insects… To eat an Alien Flier, is like getting magic coins in a video game… bonus points if you will. If a cat eats one, it adds a life to its existence (nine’s the limit). // But the most notorious of all creatures, the one critter that the Alien Fliers fear the most, is the mosquito.// scene: A mosquito flies into view.

narrative (commentary): A mosquito will suck the life right out of an Alien Flier. To it, the aliens
are the elixir of life, a must have. It is this reason that spiders like to capture the fliers and use them for bait. One Alien Flier will guarantee a double limit, in the spider’s daily catch. An Alien Flier is power bait
for mosquito catching. // I know some of you right about now are wondering, yeah but, why don’t the spiders eat them too? It’s simple really. To a spider, they taste yucky. // scene: Mr. Rivo dangles from a spider’s web.

narrative (commentary): So now that I’ve explain the Alien Fliers, and the game of life (theirs), you have a better understanding of what they’re up against on this mission to Earth. // scene: Mr. Rivo & Verter sit on a gentle hill, contemplating the universe.
