narrative: As you will remember Mr. Rivo floated away with a signal balloon, where he eventually
found himself trapped inside a young child’s room. A child with a wild imagination... // scene: A child sits up in bed, as Mr. Rivo floats through his room.
narrative: A child with a wild imagination. The one human being who can see the Alien Fliers. So whether it was good luck or bad luck that the boy spotted Mr. Rivo hiding in his room is all in how you see things. After befriending the boy, Mr. Rivo now had an ally-- and rescue plan.
narrative: And with the help of his mom and a vanity mirror... // A signal beacon was made. A active mirror with a mask of a half-moon shape applied to it... the solar powered beacon would alert the Alien Fliers and curious birds.
narrative: Within minutes of shining the light on objects in or near the park. Crows began to fill the
sky. The signal beacon seemed to be working.
narrative: And one crow landed so near the boy that when he turned to tell Mr. Rivo... Rivo was gone. And come to find out so was the bird. Vanished.
scene: Inside the cockpit of the LAMAV (Low Altitude Micro Air Vehicle) [or the not so common crow], the pilot and copilot are discussing the condition of the rescued navigator, Mr. Rivo. // caption: [Captain Nee] “Well? How is the boy? Rivo. Did he seem okay? ”
caption: [Verter] “He just went to his navigation station-- grabbed his tunes
and now he’s just vegging out, listening to his tunes and playing video games.” // caption: [Captain Nee] “We’ll give some space...”
scene: // caption: [Captain Nee] “Then we’ll ask him...” // Then we’ll ask him... // caption: [Verter] “I’ll say! The side bet. A burger and soda. And who pays! ...and why didn’t he let go of that
stupid balloon... ”
