narrative (commentary):Dear Reader, I write to you tonight about the Legend of Nomius // scene: A writer’s cabin sits as a vignette in front of the backdrop of the solar system .

scene: A farm house sits in a valley, as the full moon clears the trees of a distant hill. // narrative (commentary): It has become a habit now, a game I play inside my own head, as I watch the full moon rise and clear the trees on the distant hills, I try to guess the exact moment the cabin door will creek open... and when he will sit down at the table, pour himself a drink and begin to tell his stories. Tonight was no different. Like clockwork he stopped by...

narrative (commentary): It was his birthday today. I thought maybe he should have spent it with family, but of that part of his world I know nothing about. I guess that I should feel privileged that he stopped by the cabin to visit me. He started the conversation out by saying that he is in the exact spot in the universe as he had been the year before. And every year since his birth... as we orbit around the sun. The same spot. Each year.

narrative (commentary): Then he segued to; that the planets have been revolving around the sun on their exact same tracks for millions and billions of years. Like gears inside a clock. Always moving in unison, but always in the same spots. The main gear and the main spring never change places, they are always found in the exact same location. The pendulum always keeping the same rhythmic beat, but it is always right where it should be. Always in motion... like the planets.

narrative (commentary): Then he asked if I had ever heard of Nomius, the missing planet?
I said, "No." He poured himself another drink, and said, "Well..." // scene: Three Alien Fliers are in the Nomius chant stance, in an imaginary circle.

narrative (commentary): "What do you know about the generation before your grandparents, and the generation before that, and the generation before that? When does your knowledge begin to thin out? To where you really don't know any more, about where you come from?" He continued...
"What do you know about the society who built the Pyramids, and the generations before them?"
"What do you really know?"
Then he went on to say that about 65 million years ago, Mars was the intellectual hub, the urban center
of our solar system. Nomius was a Utopia, an artisans dream, it was beautiful. And the Earth was a primitive planet located in the sticks. A faraway place with primitive life, and wild as a frontier. Then he asked,

narrative (commentary): “Why is it, when a child pretends that his hand is an airplane, or when they hold the lid to a pot, or pan by the knob, cupping the lid in their hand if you will... pretending the lid is a flying saucer...” // scene: A young boy is imagining his hands as being World War II era biplanes, in a dog fight (side graphic included).

narrative (commentary): “Why is it, that the child automatically, and naturally, banks the corners? When that child has never flown before. What is in our DNA that tells us instinctively to bank the in flight turns?” // The Legend of Nomius Continued…// scene: A young boy is imagining the pot & pan lids in his hands as being flying saucers, as they fly through his house.
