I was very lucky as a child, as my parents would go on many family outings.
On weekends it seemed like we were never home. We would either be camping, or going on picnic type cook outs. Quite often we’d be in the mountains, at the lakes, or by the sea. Always playing and exploring... of all the places we would go, I’d have to say the beach was my favorite. We would spend countless hours building castles made of sand.
